Privacy

This is a static website. It uses no contact form, comment function, newsletter, user accounts, embedded maps or social-media plugins. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies and no cookies that would require consent under § 25 TDDDG.
Server log files: When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, the requested resource, the volume of data transferred, the referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This serves the secure and stable provision of the website and the prevention and investigation of misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional, secure website).
Hosting: This website is hosted by Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Cologne, Germany. The provider processes the aforementioned server log files on our behalf under a data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. In line with the provider default configuration, the log files are stored for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
Fonts: The Inter and Source Serif 4 fonts are embedded locally on the server. No connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) is established when the page is loaded.
Analytics: Where enabled in production, the privacy-friendly tool Plausible Analytics is used. Plausible uses no cookies and stores no personal data or full IP addresses; only aggregated, anonymous usage statistics are collected. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The default build of this website loads no analytics script.
External links: This website links to external services (including LinkedIn and Round Table 219). Data is transmitted to the respective provider only when you actively follow such a link. The privacy policy of the respective provider then applies.
Your rights: Within the legal framework you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20), as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). A message to the contact details above is sufficient.
Right to complain: Without prejudice to other remedies, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
This privacy policy will be updated as soon as the data processing, the hosting or an optional analytics tool change.
